Everyone should be on a skincare regime. Our practice suggests the below simple skincare regime.

Cleanser

A powerful, but gentle cleanser is key to any skincare regime. It keeps your pores from clogging, improve the quality of your skin, enhancing its radiance and keeping it looking younger for longer. When regularly performed, cleansing will enhance the skin’s ability to breathe and allow products to penetrate the skin more effectively.

Antioxidants

We all know antioxidants are good for us to eat, but they are also an important part of a good skin care regimen. Antioxidant products reduce free radicals caused by sun and environmental damage, which can cause premature aging and decay of skin cells. Good antioxidant products will include one or more of the following ingredients- Vitamins A, C, E, Green Tea, and Coffeeberry.

Retinoids
Studies have shown that retinoids is one of the most effective anti aging products. It stimulates collagen production and cell turnover which reduces the appearance of fine lines and brown spots. Retinoids can be a slightly irritating to the skin, so it’s important to use a sunscreen while using a retinoid.

Sunscreens
The most important beauty product of all protects you from the sun’s rays. We recommend daily use of sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. If it is light outside, then you are getting sun exposure. The face, chest, neck and back of hands should be protected daily to avoid the signs of aging and skin cancer. Consistent use of sunscreen can decrease pigmentation and freckling and also decrease your risk of precancerous and cancerous changes in the skin.

Daily use of the 4 essential ingredients listed above will help to minimize fine lines and wrinkles, boost collagen production, and decrease pigmentation. They will help to improve the outward appearance of your skin as well as improving skin health on a cellular level.
