PRFM TREATMENT:
The treatment is performed in as little as 30 minutes. First, your provider with draw a small sample of blood, this is then placed in a centrifuge machine and the platelets are separated from the other blood components. PFRM has a high concentration of platelets in plasma, which contains essential growth proteins. PRFM contains a fibrin matrix in the area it is applied to, and creates a three-dimensional scaffold to maintain the platelets at the site of application, allowing for sustained growth factor release up to seven days. The PRFM is injected into the scalp for hair restoration or applied topically with microneedling treatments.
