HOW IT WORKS:
A series of IPL treatments can improve the appearance of rosacea, redness/broken capillaries, brown and age spots, and sun-damage. It also tightens and improves the overall tone and skin texture. The pulses of light emitted are absorbed by melanin, deoxygenated hemoglobin and oxyhemoglobin, which targets brown and red discoloration, and removes visible pigmentation.

IPL TREATMENT:
The IPL treatment takes only 15-20 minutes per treatment area. Commonly treated areas include the face, neck, chest and hands.
During the treatment, a handpiece is gently pressed to the skin and pulses of light are emitted. You will feel mild heat related discomfort during the treatment and may feel mild sunburn for about half hour following treatment. After treatment, you can expect minimal redness and minimal swelling. Post-treatment, pigmented lesions will often appear darker and flaky, this may last for 1-2 weeks prior to lightening.
After an IPL treatment, you can return to work or resume your normal activities on the same day. It is imperative to use good sun protection, wear SPF daily, and avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks pre-and 2 weeks post-treatment to prevent adverse reactions.
